On a hike above Rock Creek

We made it to the Tamarack Lodge

There I was, a "performer" singing my favorite song,

Old McDonald to my audience, mommy and daddy.

Oh, and strumming my guitar.

I made the hike up to McCloud Lake!

This was a shelter made from old wood.

We crawled inside and played

The lake was "shiny with lots of suns"

Good think I had on my cool shades!

This old log was good for climbing

The trail had snow and sticks, one of my favorite combos!

Daddy showed me how to fish. We got a bite!

We stayed in a little cabin at the Tamarack Lodge.

Here, we are on the bridge at Twin Lakes

Tom's Place is a must-stop for a fishing license.

We spent one night on base at China Lake.

Lots of new parks there!
